FURTHER INFORMATION ABOUT THE COMPOUND WALL

Structure of Boundary Wall

The total length of the compound wall is 4000 feet. A single block of brick wall based on 2.5 feet deep foundation costing Rs. 16000/, will be 10 feet wide, 8 feet in height, 9 inches thick with 2.5 feet angle iron rod with five rows of barbed wires as shown in the following diagram:

Provision for the Donors

The National Sports Council, Kathmandu, has approved the following provisions proposed by the Pokhara Stadium Compound Wall Construction Committee in recognition of the generous contributions made by the individuals and organizations:


(A) Donation: Rs 5,000/- and above 

Provision:

(ai) Name of the donors (individuals/organizations) will be inscribed in white marble slab placed at a convenient location near the main entrance of the stadium

(aii) a free entry card will be issued to donors (individuals/organizations) valid for 5 years for any games played at the premises of the Pokhara Stadium

 

(B) Donation: Rs. 16,000/- and above

Provision:

(bi) same as (ai)

(bii) a free life time entry card will be issued to the donors (individuals/organizations) valid for any games played at the Pokhara Stadium 

(biii) a specified space will be provided on the compound wall allotted (10x8 feet) to the donors (individuals/organizations) for writing words of their own choice

(biv) exemption of 50% on the existing rate of hiring Pokhara Stadium valid for 1 year, for organizing any sports event by the donor organizations 

 

(C) Donation: Rs. 32,000/- and above

Provisions:

(ci) same as (bi)

(cii) same as (bii)

(ciii) same as (biii)

(civ) exemption of 75% on the existing rate of hiring Pokhara Stadium valid for 2 years, for organizing any sports evefnts by the donor organizations

 

(D) Donation: Rs. 50,000/- and above

Provision:

(di) same as (ci)

(dii) same as (cii)

(diii) a free life time VIP card will be issued to donors (individuals/organizations) valid for any games played at the premises of the Pokhara Stadium

(div) exemption of 90% on the existing rate of hiring Pokhara Stadium valid for 3 years, for organizaing any sports event by the donor organizations

 

(E) Donation: Rs 100,000/- and above

Provision:

(ei) same as (di)

(eii) same as (dii)

(eiii) a free life time VVIP card for the VIP stand will be issued to donors (individuals/organizations) valid for any games played at the premises of the Pokhara Stadium 

(eiv) free use of Pokhara Stadium for 5 years, for organizing any sports event by the donor organizations.
